Wayne Goldzweig

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Wayne inhereted his musical interests from his mother who
used to sing, and actually made two records with Lena Horne. Wayne wanted to play guitar
from the moment he watched his cousin practice with a band called "The Brooklyn Union
Grass Company", back when Rock-'N-Roll was beginning to grow up - with bands like "Tommy
James and The Shondell's", "Gary Pucket & The Union Gap", and "The Animals".

At 10 years old, his parents were forced to buy him a guitar when he fulfilled his
half of the bargain by passing a class in learning the clarinet. Although he couldn't
stand playing the clarinet at the time, it enabled him to read music. Armed with a brand
new "Harmony Rocket" hollow body guitar, he took lessons and stayed after school to
"jam" with the other rock-star-wanna-be's in Upstate New York.

In 1975, Wayne's father was hired by Ford Motor Company, and Wayne had to move to
Michigan. Although reluctant at first, he began to make friends in "Motown", who
turned him on to all sorts of bands playing up and down Telegraph Road. "Curtis Hiflash",
"Salem Witchcraft", "Mugsy", "Mariner", "Moriah" - just to name a few. During this time
(1970's - 1980's), Wayne had various bands that he was part of, and when he was laid off
temporarily, was offered the spot playing lead guitar professionally in a band called
"Foxx", booked all over Southeast Michigan by "Talent Live Productions". He learned alot
about the business, performing, band member egos, and about the importance of quality
sound equipment and instrument tones.

After a while the enjoyment began to become less and less due to the economy. Bands were
being paid less, as the bars felt hard times, and bands had to travel farther just to
find decent gigs. Fortunately, he found work as a software developer, and was able to
leave the professional music world and just have fun with music.

Wayne has continued to hone his musical skills and is now playing live with the other
members of the band, and a host of other musician friends at local clubs.
